From locating an eye-care specialist to getting fitted for glasses, vision plans are simple to use. With little to no paperwork involved, members can utilize benefits in the blink of an eye.

To help reduce vision expenses, we provide you and your family vision insurance through MetLife. In-network providers include private practitioners as well as selected chains, including Target, JCPenney Optical, Sears and Pearle Vision. To locate a provider, visit metlife.com/vision.

Retinal imaging: Up to $39 copay on routine retinal screening when performed by a private practice

Polycarbonate (child up to age 18) and ultraviolet (UV) coating: Covered in full
Progressive, polycarbonate (adult), photochromic, antireflective and scratch-resistant coatings and tints: Your cost will be limited to a copay that MetLife has negotiated for you. These copays can be viewed after enrollment at metlife.com/mybenefits.
Contact Lenses (instead of eye glasses)Once every 12 months
Contact fitting and evaluation: Cover in full with a maximum copay of $60
