The North Kansas City Hospital Fitness Center, located on the 3rd Floor Pavilion, is furnished with clean, modern equipment. It is more than just a place to work out. The Center uses evaluation, education, experience and encouragement when working with you to help plan and practice new strategies and healthier habits for life.
To schedule an appointment for a tour or to enroll as a member, call 816-691-5020.
The Wellness Pool is located on 2nd Floor Pavilion. Neither the competition-sized (25 meters) Wellness Pool or the Warm Water Therapy Pool have a lifeguard on duty. You can access the Pools through the locker rooms. The Warm Water Therapy Pool is only available for patient use or classes. Community Health and Wellness offer Fitness in the Pool classes.
The Wellness coordinator will supervise and help you develop an action plan for change that is specific to your needs. The program will be a balanced solution that can really work for you! One on one coaching, as well as group dynamics, will help you achieve and/or maintain your personal goals. Together we will create possibilities for transforming our current lifestyle habits into positive life behaviors. You will also be challenged with the opportunities to increase your awareness and perceptions of a healthy lifestyle. If it is unreasonably difficult due to a medical condition for you to achieve the standards for the reward under the program, or it is medically inadvisable for you to attempt to achieve the standards for the reward under this program, call 816-691-1355 and we will work with you to develop another way to qualify for the reward.
